Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Thought for the Day: God makes His way known through the people we meet.
Over the past few days, our family has run into so many obstacles as we have tried to accomplish normalcy in our lives of transition. We know God has led us to a special place and we know He is with us in every step of our journey. As we have moved through these days, however, we have experienced getting stopped in unexpected traffic during a police Sea of Blue for a fallen officer when we desperately needed to get somewhere, new phones not working properly, car difficulty on both of our family cars, childcare changes, and so many more. I shared with a friend that when things are going well and when you know God is in your presence, satan will try to enter in to attempt to make you feel sad and worried. But, now that we made it through the hard week, I can look back and see where God worked in all of our situations. Our children were able to experience a Sea of Blue tribute to a fallen officer who had died in the line of duty, we were able to work with a special friend in setting up new phones, I met two precious workers at our local phone office who helped us through properly setting up our phones, we were able to have both cars worked on by friends and met new acquaintances at a local shop, and the change in childcare allowed my little boy to find a new friend.
I am thankful today for all of these people God sent into our paths this week who were God’s hands to us. What seemed to be a week of frustration ended up being a week of experiencing God’s hands through the people we met in these situations. Who have you met along your path today. Could they be God’s hands for you?
Prayer: God, thank you for helping us see Your hands through the people we meet each day. Through frustrating situations, you led them to us. Precious God, please be with us today. Amen.
